Watching Iron Man, fans of the comic giggled in anticipation when Rhodes glances at a silver suit of armor and said, "Next time," alluding to the famed storyline where Tony Stark descends into severe alcoholism and must leave the reigns of Iron Man in the hands of his best friend, Jim Rhodes.
But apparently, financial (and other) differences have broken ties between Terence Howard and Marvel Studios, opening the door for Don Cheadle, who is reportedly signed on for full steam ahead.
Much as I love Terence Howard, I have one thing to say about this: w00t w00t w00t w00t w00t
